Grateful Sōl - A Thanksgiving Day Practice

Join us this Thanksgiving Day for our annual Grateful Sol practice.

Let’s gather in community as we create a shared experience of openness, ease, and connection. We invite you to slow down, soften, and embrace the gift of being present in a state of felt gratitude. Jade and Karen will weave together mindful movement, breath work, and meditation to foster a deep sense of appreciation for ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

Jade will play her sound bowls to close our practice with a moment of collective reflection. May we all offer and receive gratitude for the abundance in our lives and the connections that sustain us. Come with a heart full of appreciation, and leave feeling grounded, centered, and uplifted by the power of community.

All levels welcome.

Celestial Sound Bath

Please join us as we welcome guest teacher, Bobbie Jo Kuhl for this Celestial Sound Bath experience.  We will expand our energy levels in our chakras and activate our DNA to a higher level using crystal singing bowls, chimes and the Atlantis Gong!

The Atlantis Gong is made by expert Chinese Gong makers for the American distributor Gongs Unlimited, the Atlantis Gong brings you the vibration of water, in particular the frequencies that lie deep beneath the earth's seas. This solid Gong is named after the fabled ancient Island of Atlantis that sunk beneath the sea and, some believe, still exists today. Atlantis was reputed to be a peaceful place of very advanced energy healing, in particular using the vibrational power of huge crystals, and crystal rooms. The vibrations of the Atlantis Gong surround you, hold you and rock you gently in waves of sound. The sounds rise and fall, sending their high vibrations through the water in your body and working at the level of your cells to help you release pain and tension. Negative thoughts and feelings fall away and you are left feeling restored to your best self.

Sunday, November 24

6:00 - 7:30pm

$20

Bobbie Jo Kuhl is a Psychic Medium, Channeler, Tarot/Oracle Card Reader, and an Energy/Sound Therapist. She also teaches several different guided meditations.  Part of her soul mission involves educating the masses about the importance of living from a heart centered space. She believes that when you focus on loving and caring for yourself, then your love spreads unconditionally to everyone and everything.  When we take better care of ourselves, we will have more compassion and love for others and the planet.

Ecstatic Dance
Nov

5:00 PM17:00

Ecstatic Dance

Ecstatic dance is a sacred practice of allowing the music to move the physical body in a manner of energetic flow-releasing blocked and stagnant energy.

The practice is held from a space that allows you to refrain from over- thinking or being critical/judgmental of yourself or others. Thank you judgment-free zone! It’s time to move the body without restrictions and to flow through emotion, becoming FREE!

Megan’s style of Edance is both lighthearted and deep, encouraging you to break past the barriers of the mind, the “shoulds” and the “cants”, and to completely fall in love with the experience of presence… to be so present in the moment that nothing else exists while simultaneously, everything exists. If you’re working through hard situations/emotions, welcome it in! Let it become processed and integrated during the dance.

The playlist will flow us through the 5 rhythms: feminine, masculine, chaos, lyrical, and silence.

Supreme Release Yoga

Supreme Release Yoga is a deceptively gentle form of yoga, which targets the long held tensions of the pelvis and sacrum. It works with the spine like a chiropractor, decompressing the spine, which in turn reduces pressure on all other parts of the body, organs and muscles.

SRY not only improves sleep, but also improves digestion, menstruation, fertility, anxiety, depression, posture, stress management, lower back pain & body pain in general. The practice cultivates a quiet mind and naturally meditative state and benefits the nervous system, cardiovascular system and improves circulation. SRY stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which lowers blood pressure, slows the heart rate and breathing rate.

In this special 2 hour workshop, you’ll explore an internalized practice that has you land in your body. Fundamental asanas will be taught where you’ll learn to sit upright with ease and stability. Along with a supported Savasana where the deep decompression and healing happens while you’re expertly guided through the intricately angled asanas which release your tailbone, pelvis and sacrum. You’ll learn how to create and abide in a space of complete effortless throughout your spinal muscles. There will be time at the end of the class to reflect and inquire both within and also of your teacher any experiences you’re curious about or would like to share.

Please arrive open to deep listening and letting go. Not just letting go physically, but also mentally where as the asanas will be demonstrated and taught differently than in more dynamic, strengthening forms of yoga.

Decompress, Heal, Rest, Relax, Release, Rejuvenate and Reset!

Full Moon for the Feminine

What is Full Moon for the Feminine? What will we do?

We will move, breathe, express, and share. This will be a co-creation in every way, depending on who shows up, what is needed and what will serve each of us individually and collectively. Trust in the magnificent intuitive wisdom that we each have and know that coming together will move us forward in the precise ways that we need and desire. Come to discover, release and transform in the safe container of sisterhood.

Summer Solstice - 108 Practice

Welcome to our Summer Solstice celebration! This special event is all about coming together as a community to honor the longest day of the year and pay homage to the sun through a powerful and meaningful practice - 108 sun salutations.

The Summer Solstice holds great significance in many cultures and traditions, as it marks the transition from spring to summer and symbolizes growth, abundance, and renewal. It is a time of gratitude for the sun's life-sustaining energy and a time to connect with nature and one another.

The 108 sun salutations will be co-led by a team of instructors who will guide us through this challenging yet empowering practice. Each salutation represents a journey of transformation, and together we will ride the waves of the sun's energy, leaving us feeling rejuvenated and connected.

As we move and flow through each sun salutation, we will also bring attention to the idea of community. Just as the sun nourishes and sustains all living beings, so does the power of coming together and supporting one another. This event is a beautiful opportunity to deepen our sense of community and lean into the supportive and uplifting environment we are creating together.

Throughout the practice, there will be moments of rest and reflection, allowing us to fully embrace the present moment and the gift of being surrounded and supported by epic humans on this special day.

Afterwards, we invite everyone to stay and connect over refreshing drinks and healthy snacks. This is a chance to continue building relationships, share our experiences, and bask in the summer sun.

Join us for this unforgettable Summer Solstice event as we celebrate the power of community and the joy of movement. Let's welcome the new season with open hearts and a renewed sense of connection. Whether you do 8 or 108 sun salutes (or any number in between) we want you there. See you on the mat!

Hot Pilonnies Fundraiser for Lonnie

Lonnie has the opportunity to complete her level 1 fieldwork on a service trip to Peru this summer! The OT program at the University of Mary has been offering OT services at “La Alegría en el Señor” school in Lima, a private school for children with disabilities. The students work Monday through Friday at the school along with some sightseeing and then will work with an orphanage for kids with disabilities. The student volunteers will have a few days to explore the highlands of Peru, get a feel of the culture, and of course, visit the famous Machu Picchu! Sol Yoga Collective will be hosting a fundraiser on behalf of Lonnie. She will be teaching a few pop-up classes so keep an eye on the schedule for these events! Let’s show her all the love that she so willingly shares with all of us.
